For Nursery, Lower KG and Upper KG, the overview should feel more warm, nurturing, playful and development-focused, rather than academic or achievement-oriented like the secondary section. It should highlight early childhood development, curiosity, independence, language, social skills, creativity and learning through play.
Our Early Years Approach
At BSK School, we believe that the early years are the foundation for a child’s lifelong learning and development. Our Nursery, Lower KG and Upper KG programmes provide a joyful, nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel secure, valued and excited to learn.
Through play-based, activity-oriented and experiential learning, children are encouraged to explore their surroundings, express themselves freely and discover the joy of learning at their own pace. Every classroom experience is thoughtfully designed to support the child’s cognitive, language, physical, social, emotional and creative development.
Our early years programme focuses on helping every child to:
- Build confidence, independence and positive learning habits
- Develop strong communication and early language skills
- Strengthen foundational concepts through hands-on activities and exploration
- Develop fine and gross motor skills through movement, play and creative activities
- Express ideas, feelings and imagination through art, music, stories and role play
- Learn to share, cooperate, listen and build meaningful friendships
- Develop curiosity, observation, problem-solving and early thinking skills
- Understand values such as kindness, respect, responsibility and empathy
- Become comfortable with routines, self-care and age-appropriate responsibilities
Our caring and experienced teachers create engaging learning experiences through stories, rhymes, music, movement, sensory activities, art and craft, games, conversations, role play and interactive digital resources. Learning is further enriched through celebrations, thematic experiences, outdoor activities and opportunities to explore the world around them.
At BSK School, we nurture happy, confident and curious learners, giving every child the space to wonder, explore, create and grow.
At Anjuman BSK, we believe the early years lay the foundation for a child’s future learning, confidence and character. Our Early Years Curriculum is thoughtfully aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the Foundational Stage framework, providing a joyful, nurturing and stimulating environment where children learn through play, exploration, interaction and meaningful experiences.
Our integrated, developmentally appropriate approach allows children to discover concepts naturally through stories, conversations, activities, movement, creativity and real-life experiences rather than through rigid subject boundaries.
